As we walk through the garden

I believe God reminded me one morning not too long ago; that walking without Him is like walking through a garden where nothing is growing.
He is what makes things alive. That I HAVE to make the effort to walk with Him.
Things die if we don’t walk with Him

In my life, I have had the privilege of walking through a couple of gardens. One was with my dear sweet grandmother, and the other my wonderful mother.
It is an intimate journey actually; someone who has a garden knows each plant, knows where each one came from and why; some even name their plant's endearing names.
It is a walk where one is listening, being aware of their surroundings; paying attention.
I'd love a garden again, one in which I could enjoy sharing that piece of myself with my granddaughter. But most of all I want to share with her, with others the beauty of His garden. The King of kings, and the Lord of lords, He is a gardener, He is about the small details, He knows the name of every one of His creations, He knows why each one is planted where it is, He watches each one, He is about listening, He is about beauty and love.
I am Grateful that He has shared His love of nature with me.

Beautifully said. My heart felt that. Thank you for reminding me that God is the giver of life.
