The Sun Kissed me

The sun kissed my window this morning, and lightly tapped upon it.

"Good morning sunshine," He said,

"I missed you while you slept.

Would you like to join me as I start the day?

I'd love to spend it with you,

would you like to take a walk with me?"

So I rose, put on my boots and went for a walk with the Son.

He walked beside me in my garden and gazed upon my flowers.

He touched my cheek and said,

" I made this day for you, Rejoice and be glad in it"

This was a little poem that came to me one morning as I was waking up, many years ago.
